| 1. The Invisibles Vol. 1: Say You Want a Revolution |
|
By: Grant Morrison Publisher: Vertigo June 01, 1996
Terrible Comic. The description is nothing like the Comic. I can barely finish this terrible piece of work... more

| 2. New X-Men, Vol. 1 |
|
By: Grant Morrison, Frank Quitely Publisher: Marvel Comics June 11, 2008
Grant Morrison is one of those polarizing writers. You either kneel at the altar or kneel at the toilet bowl. Me, i dont really get all the hype but i have enjoyed some of his work. Although it is a far departure from what I had been used to New X-Men is not that bad (my favorite X- period being from Mutant Massacre through Inferno. Fall of the Mutants being the peak). Its not a masterpiece as some... more

| 3. We3 |
|
By: Grant Morrison Publisher: Vertigo July 01, 2005
We3 is certainly not a graphic novel to read if you want an uplifting story. It is sad, angering, and thoughtful. It is also intelligent, insightful, and thought provoking. I certainly enjoyed reading it, though I didn't want to pick it up again for a few months. ... more

| 4. Grant Morrison: The Early Years |
|
By: Timothy Callahan Publisher: Sequart Research & Literacy Organization May 15, 2008
I edited this book, so obviously I'm biased. But as I was reading it for the first time, I truly realized how little I new about some comics that I've read countless times.
I always thought I GOT Grant. I understood this guy. He's a cool, trippy writer, and I figured out his most dense works. Well, during the reading / editing of this book, I was shown SO MUCH MORE by Tim, a true Morrison... more

| 5. Doom Patrol, Book 1: Crawling From the Wreckage |
|
By: Grant Morrison Publisher: Vertigo April 17, 2000
This is where Grant Morrison started writing Doom Patrol and this graphic novel can be compared to even best Moore's works, Gaiman's best Sandman, or even Maxx, storywise. If you are not easily offended by religious themes or too squeamish , get it! Get all of them. I must say, Doom Patrol by Grant Morison has ups and downs but get this one at least! It's worth all the money! more

| 7. JLA, Vol. 1 |
|
By: Grant Morrison Publisher: DC Comics September 02, 2008
I've never been much of a comic book guy until I recently discovered Grant Morrison the comic legend. And all I have to say is that he has a very poetic and detailed sense of fantastically extreme imagination. But within reason too. Reading this work you can say that this man knows his stuff and anything he touches becomes poetic gold. If you like this graphic novel Get JLA, Vol. 2 (Deluxe Edition)... more

| 8. The Filth |
|
By: Grant Morrison Publisher: Vertigo June 01, 2004
I usually dont mind dark fiction but, unfortunately I have too much respect in humanity to enjoy The Filth.
Morrison's thought was to write a graphic novel that was so vile that it would inoculate the readers to the garbage the media spews out. Morrison is full of it... He wants to attach meaning like an avant garde artist to share his deep and moody insight. The Filth is void of any... more

| 9. Seven Soldiers of Victory, Vol. 1 |
|
By: Grant Morrison Publisher: DC Comics January 04, 2006
Grant Morrison's Seven Soldiers are absolutely nothing like the old version. Well, apart from the bit with Vigilante in it early on.
New versions of Klarion the Witch Boy, and the Shining Knight, and quite a lot of the supernatural alien type of influence.

| 10. All Star Superman, Vol. 1 |
|
By: Grant Morrison Publisher: DC Comics September 02, 2008
I wasn't all that impressed with this. The art was ok, but too much psuedo science and non relevant fluff to enjoy it. Now Red Son, which I just read, was fantastic. There are plenty of other great Superman stories to enjoy. I wish I had read this before ordering Part 2 as well... more
