Great and excellent shipping. I enjoy reading the Geoff Johns "Blood will run", it feel like a detective story and not a superheroes story. For sure I'm buying the sequel of it!!... more

| 2. Superman: Brainiac |
|
By: Geoff Johns Publisher: DC Comics March 09, 2010
What the other reviewers don't mention, for some reason, is that several points of the story are an homage to an earlier era of Supe's history, namely the 70s and early 80s. The first close-up of Lois Lane marks her as a dead ringer for Margaret Kidder from the first two superman movies. She's even served the "freshly squeezed orange juice" she keeps going on about in those movies. Another... more

| 5. Green Lantern: Agent Orange |
|
By: Geoff Johns Publisher: DC Comics November 17, 2009
Quite the entertaining story, Agent Orange is filled with terrific art work creating amazing images. Larlfleeze as Agent Orange is definitely one of the most interesting and entertaining characters in comics that I've seen in a while. It was a great read that I wish could have been longer, especially into Agent Orange's origin and that of his constructs. Otherwise, I anxiously await the Blackest Night... more

| 6. Green Lantern (Book 1): No Fear |
|
By: Geoff Johns Publisher: DC Comics May 20, 2008
As a newcomer to GL series I started with GL: Rebirth and was overwhelmed by a sheer number of terms and characters. I didn't like it for that reason. This volume actually is a much better start for a new reader as it focuses on a story and a few characters instead of trying to mention everything in GL mythos... more

| 7. Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds |
|
By: Geoff Johns Publisher: DC Comics October 27, 2009
If you aren't a fan of the Legion of Superheroes, this book might not be for you. If you don't know who "Lightning Lad, Saturn Girl, and Cosmic Boy" are, you might have some trouble figuring out who is who, and just what exactly is going on.
Geoff Johns, the brilliant mind behind Infinite Crisis, and the guy who resurrected Green Lantern continues several of his own works in this installment... more

| 8. Superman and the Legion of Super-Heroes |
|
By: Geoff Johns Publisher: DC Comics July 21, 2009
`Superman and the Legion of Super Heroes' begins with a very powerful opening and I was instantly reminded why I should never underestimate Geoff Johns skills as a writer. For most of the book Johns manages to keep up the same high level of writing but stumbles in the conclusion. More on that later. As for the visuals, Gary Frank is an excellent but sometimes inconsistent artist. My biggest complaint... more

| 9. Green Lantern: Rage of the Red Lanterns |
|
By: Geoff Johns Publisher: DC Comics July 07, 2009
This book continues Geoff John's big Green Lantern story arc featuring Hal Jordan, the Green Lantern of my youth. When I first heard about these other colored Lantern corps, the whole idea seemed a little cheesy. But Johns has been able to make credible and interesting stories that stand on their own as stories and also plug into the larger "Blackest Night" storyline. I would definitely recommend this... more
