| 1. Testament: The Life and Art of Frank Frazetta |
|
By: Frank Frazetta Publisher: Underwood Books April 28, 2008
An excellent and informative book about Frank Frazetta and his art.I bought it primarily just for the artwork since I've been a huge fan of Frazetta since I first saw his artwork in Creepy Magazine when I was a teenager.I wasn't really looking for anything else from it, and it fulfilled that very well with quality reproductions of his work. The text was well written, interesting, and enjoyable reading:an... more

| 2. Spectrum Presents: Frank Frazetta: Rough Work |
|
By: Frank Frazetta Publisher: Spectrum Fantastic Art September 28, 2007
When are publishers going to get the fact that a two page spread, though it sounds nice, isn't a good idea? The fact that several nice pieces in this book are ruined by this makes me wonder how often the publishers actually look at their books. Not bad if you can get it cheap, nice for any Frazetta fan and makes a nice gift. ... more

| 4. Fantasy Hero The Classic Art of Frank Frazetta 2010 Wall Calendar (Calendar) |
|
By: Frank Frazetta Publisher: Sellers Publishing Inc July 25, 2009
The paintings are great as to be expected from Frazetta and are printed beautifully, but the calendar folds and staples on part of each image, which gives you a larger image but it is strangely disjointed. I have gotten used to it but at first it really bugged me... more

| 6. Frank Frazetta's Death Dealer Deluxe HC |
|
By: Joshua Ortega, Nat Jones, Jay Fotos Publisher: Image Comics May 08, 2008
This is the lowest rating I've ever given any book and even I'm suprised by how much I dislike this collected series. Even more suprising is the lip service being given this substandard series by people who appear to be fans of Frank Frazetta but have not the ability to critique for that fandom. In essence, anything the Frazetta's approve/endorse is good enough for them and this is the very reason... more

| 7. The Fantastic Worlds of Frank Frazetta, Vol. 1 (v. 1) |
|
By: Mark Kidwell, Steve Niles, Joshua Ortega, Rick Remender, Peter Berting, Francesco Francavilla, Josh Medors, Tim Vigil Publisher: Image Comics November 12, 2008
I love Frazetta but as another reviewer wrote, this series is very misleading with its title; the majority of the book is not Frazetta's art - he did covers and created characters but the rest is by other far inferior artists. If you want Frazetta, buy the book Legacy, Testament or Frank Frazetta by the Alexandar Gallery... more

By: Frank Frazetta Publisher: Bantam Doubleday Dell January 01, 1980
As a child of the late 70's and the 80's I was influenced by art and my imagination. Having a physical disability (CP) My mind took me places I thought I could never go physically!!! The picture on the cover of this book was also the album cover for Molly Hachet's "Flirtin with disaster" That album- that picture--took me someplace else. I listened to the album and looked at it for hours... more
