I bought this for my Dell Inspiron 531 because my psu went bad, my pc kept shutting down. The size was too long for the 531 case but it can still fit. Another thing is it only has one sata connection so I couldn't plug in my cd drive. So I just bought a sata extention(y spliter) for under 10$ now every thing works. I would recommend this PSU for any body with a 531, even though the size was too long... more

I thougth this was a great unit, with the fan and sata was just what I wanted, I used it to clone one drive in December and then when I went to see what was on another drive recently the fan would start to move weakly and stop and it wouldn't power the drive up.
I tried several times, plugged/unplugged the drive in, same issue, put the drive in another unit and it booted right up.

If your looking to upgrade your pwr supply you found it!Does everything you need it to! Has way more connectors than anyone would ever need. I put this in an Antec Nine Hundred Two case.
