By: Alan Grant Publisher: Grand Central Publishing February 01, 2006
I bought this book years ago lost it, found it, then it was 'borrowed' damaged and lost by a neighbor so I recently bought another to recomplete the series. All this time I thought the book would mainly be Martian Manhunter and Superman with Lobo getting into the mix. This is, as other reviewers have said, mainly a novel about Lobo and the trail of chaos left in his wake. Superman was almost an afterthought... more

| 3. Batman: Contagion |
|
By: Chuck Dixon, Doug Moench, Alan Grant Publisher: DC Comics April 01, 1996
Batman: Contagion is a crossover story arc in the Batman comics taking place after the Knightfall Saga and before No Man's Land. A plague has come to Gotham and Batman and his allies must race to find the cure.

| 8. Robin: Tragedy & Triumph |
|
By: Alan Grant, Chuck Dixon Publisher: DC Comics 1993-11
This trade paperback collects two Robin story arcs, the first telling of the death of Tim Drake's mother and the crippling of his father (before he became Robin) and the second telling of Tim's first conflict with the Joker without Batman watching his back. Both stories are satisfying and help to develop the young Robin as a character. The Joker's Wild story, reprinted from the second Robin miniseries... more
