| 3. PlayStation 3 Dualshock 3 Wireless Controller |
|
From: Sony Computer Entertainment April 04, 2008
Features:- Pressure sensors that rumble with each action making every impact feel like you're right in the game
- Sixaxis highly sensitive motion technology senses your every move
- Features Bluetooth technology for wireless game play
- The PlayStation 3 system can support up to seven wireless controllers at one time
- Can be charged at any time through the PlayStation 3 system using the controller's USB cable
The star evaluation is misleading because I'm commenting only on the PS3 controller, not on a game or the PS3 console. I love my PS3 but the controller leaves a lot to be desired. It really makes playing the games less enjoyable for me. This is the one area the 360 has the PS3 beat. The big problem is that there is too much leeway and looseness in the direction sticks, which I think are too long. I... more

| 4. Sony PlayStation 3 Blu-ray Disc Remote |
|
From: Sony Computer Entertainment January 09, 2007
Features:- gives you streamlined access to the PS3's Blu-ray Disc functions
- Bluetooth wireless technology
- compatible with all versions of the PlayStation 3
I found this remote very useful. Navigating around the PS3, watching videos, viewing photos, and even listening to music is easier now compared to using the Dualshock 3 Controller. Since you only need to use one hand with this remote now you can use your other hand for, say, drinking water. :)
However, I was still disappointed. (Other reviewers here have pointed them out as well.)more

I wanted to warn people off because this has gotten so many good reviews, but its not for everyone. Certainly not for me.
I give it 2 stars because it did give me a workout. Unfortunately, playing the game felt more like a chore than a game. I stuck it out through the games entire "30 day challenge" to give it a fair shot. Having done so, I don't think I will play it again.more

| 10. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots |
|
From: Konami June 12, 2008
Features:- Although little is known, MGS4 is being touted as the final installment in the Metal Gear Solid series.
- Chameleon-like camouflage system, Octacamo, blends Snake into his surroundings.
- Loads of characters from previous Metal Gear Solid installments will return in this final chapter.
- Slated for simultaneous worldwide release in June 2008, Konami has released very few details about MGS4.
- Built for the PS3, the game is expected to be the finest representation of the console's graphics
There's only one word to describe this game: Epic. It will make you question what is possible for video games. With a story to rival any Hollywood movie and gameplay that can be found nowhere else, this game became one of my all-time favorites the moment I picked up the controller. I can't get in to much without instinctively posting spoilers, so I'll keep it simple: PLAY. THIS. GAME... more
