Great Gameplay + Excellent Soundtrack I can see why Guitar Hero III is everywhere; the soundtrack (ranging from Rolling Stone's 'Paint It, Black' to Guns N' Roses's 'Welcome to the Jungle') is something worth brandishing to your friends (and buying on Amazon.com). The co-op experience is great, although the keyboard controls are a little awkward to start with. This makes a great game to play when a friend or two's visiting.
Good game but itsn't compatible with all computers!! This game is amazingly fun...The first time I played it was at my friend's house, and I loved it so much that I decided to buy it for myself. When I received it, I tried downloading it onto my computer, but it didn't work because my laptop was too old. When you buy this, make sure it will work on your computer!
Great Gift Guitar Hero for PC is great. Is played exactly like the XBox 360 version. So if you don't have a 360 this makes a perfect gift for your kids. Arrived quickly. Highly recommend.
Faster Graphics Card? You need a fast graphics card at least a GeForce 7200. If you don't have a decent graphics card the game will lag. But yeah typical guitar hero game really fun.
So so.. I have a fairly powerful one year old macbook pro and while the game runs, it doesn't perform very well unless I turn the graphics options all the way down. The online downloadable content doesn't exist yet, and when you go online to play someone, there's hardly ever anyone there to play, or their servers are down.
Fun game, but lots of things about it need improvement.
I play other games on this same mac book pro with no performance issues, WoW and Diablo II for example.
