Not really sure about this one. Maybe it will grow on me maybe not. I always try to give music a fair shot. Some outright disappoint me (Kris Allen, Kesha) and some I love right away (Lady GaGa, Adam Lambert, Rihanna). This one I have mixed feelings. Like many, I heard this band when I watched 500 Days of Summer and I impatiently waited for the US to finally get their album. That wait was totally worth it though because this album is a very impressive major freshman album for a band and there isn't one track on the entire thing that I skip... well maybe the drum song :). She called this album Violet Journey and I called it a hell of a journey!! And I want to thank Amazon for what a speedy delivery of this beautiful CD (I got this within 2 weeks of ordering which was unusual :)). It was worth every single penny paid (believe me, I could have paid for 4 cds!!). To know that she has come up with all the songs in the album before Believe is truly unbelievable... more

I like the sound of the CD overall, but I wish there had been more variety to it. There are a couple of upbeat songs, but I think that too many of the tracks sound the same. The songs definitely show forth the unique quality to her voice.
In short, if you're looking for a calming, rainy-day CD this is the one for you. If you're looking for more upbeat songs in the mix just buy MP3 of the songs... more

Great modern worship music out of Australia. 4 or 5 songs we have sung in the last year in church. I bought this song for the track "This Is Our God". We had a service at the local indoor stadium- about 15000 attended and 340+ received Christ. The alter call was after "This is Our God"... incredible lyrics in the chorus... more
