In response to DIRECTV's decision to drop XM Radio and replace it with SonicCrap (pathetic/cheap fidelity), I canceled my satellite TV subscription of 15+ years and purchased this unit to stream Pandora One to my living room. My experience with setup and general performance was similar to those who've given the BD-C6500 a 4 or 5 rating, so I won't repeat all of their positive comments.

I purchase this bluray player about a week ago. The intial set up went smoothly. I was prompted to do a firmware upgrade. Once I did it, the wirless stoped working and I called samsung. They advised me to reset the unit, which I did. That did not help. I am getting ready to send it back to Amazon. I am really dissappointed with Samsung. I cannot believe they roll out these new products without testing... more

This dvd player broke after less than a year of infrequent use. I noticed that it started taking a long time to read dvds, and after a few weeks of this, it stopped working entirely.
Also, the "stand by" feature is extremely annoying. The dvd player buttons will not respond while in stand by mode. You must either turn the unit off and on manually or turn it off of stand by using the remote... more
