| Starring: Stephen Caffrey, Patrick Cassidy, Brian Cousins, Bruce Davison, Campbell Scott Directed By: Norman René January 23, 2001
This film was recommended by a friend for research to learn about the lives of gay men in the early 80s. I was truly moved by this film. The relationships, touching moments and the tasteful way all was portrayed throughout the film. It was quite eyeopening to me as a heterosexual to learn what the homosexual man went and go through when contracting HIV/AIDS and any earlier forms of it. It was the... more

| Starring: Terence Knox, Stephen Caffrey, Joshua Maurer, Steve Akahoshi, Tony Becker Directed By: Stephen Caffrey June 08, 2004
The first season of this show is by far the best, it follows the life and times of a platoon during the Vietnam War. DVD quality is good - I miss the stones intro with "Paint it black", but hey you can't have everything... more

I'm sure modern warriors can find lots of entertainment value in identifying the numerous technical errors being constantly made by the actors of the series. This is Hollywood style war, after all.
When my older son was a little kid, he ate this series up, much the way I ate up "COMBAT" when I was a little kid. Both of us ended up in the Navy- go figure.
My only real complaint... more

Blowback is an unjustly obscure action/suspense flick. It has an intellectual content that is much higher than most movies in its genre.
The killer in this movie has a unique method of execution each victim is killed in the style of a martyred saint. A message with a bible reference is then placed in the corpse's mouth. The director of Blowback, Mark L. Lester, is a prolific maker... more
