The second series is even better than series 1 (despite the fact that characters are absent with little explanation. For example, Marie is gone and the only thing we hear of it is her sister adding "...not that Marie has gone home" to the end of a sentence). The storylines in this series are moe riveting and scandelous than the first and the it has a killer ending. A must have for fans of the show... more

Footballers Wives is very trashy and the acting is very dodgy, yet it's a brilliant, addictive show! You literally get hooked from 10 minutes into episode one as I finished the series in a couple of days because I just had to watch the next episode.

I would say that this show even though it is British, it is quite entertaining. It's like a mixture of Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy. The only bad thing about this show is that if you're not British at times it can get a little difficult to understand... more
