This was the 3rd time I have watched the movie. Each time, I enjoy it more. Each time, I see something I missed before. My husband laughed so much, we were all rolling off the couch. ... more

One of John Ritter's last movies, a comedy drama complete with lot's of laughs and still containing " instant growth " about his problems. A man that likes the ladies who suffers from writer's block. | | 4. Paris When It Sizzles |
| Starring: William Holden, Audrey Hepburn, Grégoire Aslan, Raymond Bussières, Christian Duvaleix Directed By: Richard Quine April 10, 2001
I love this movie because it is so different yet totally captivating and funny. The Paris backdrop is genius and the costumes and hair are fantastic, but what makes the film most interesting is just how random and fun it is. It's not a movie where you observe the acting or study the plot, because there hardly is one here, but it's a nice break from the more "civilized" comedies of the era. Overall... more

One of the all time great black and whites. Bette Davis, Monty Wooley (sp), Ann Sheridan - all outstanding performances. Execellent comedy script. Watch it at least 6 times during the Christmas season, and occassionally even when it's not the holidays. My opinion . . . ... more

| | 8. Hav Plenty |
| Starring: Hill Harper, Mekhi Phifer, Christopher Scott Cherot, Reginald James, Tammi Katherine Jones Directed By: Christopher Scott Cherot February 12, 2002
Cherot's first film examines relationships most particular the lead character's . This is film is "loosely" based as a recount of the writer who is the acting lead in the film. His journey makes him very relatable as he attempts an introspection in examing his true feelings for his friend who is the object of his affection. Tracy Edmonds & Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds partnered to produce this film... more

| | 9. Deconstructing Harry |
| Starring: Caroline Aaron, Kirstie Alley, Bob Balaban, Richard Benjamin, Eric Bogosian Directed By: Woody Allen May 27, 1998
Look folks:
Woody ain't the Swede even though he likes to copy his movies. As if the Swede will rub off on him.Never happen.Woody has too much schmaltz covering himself.
Now this film one is clearly a copy of Wild Strawberries, one of the great movies ever which describes the journey of 24 hours in which an old man slowly comes to grips with what his life has been. more

| | 10. Celebrity |
| Starring: Kenneth Branagh, Judy Davis, Leonardo DiCaprio, Melanie Griffith, Joe Mantegna August 10, 1999
I assume that Kenneth Branagh imitates Woody Allen here because Allen himself is now too old to keep playing the woman-chasing schlub who ends up with women way too attractive for him. Maybe this isn't classic Woody, but it's pretty good stuff... more
