By: R. S. Yeoman Publisher: Not Avail March 20, 2009
I bought this book because of the low price. When I got it in the mail I could tell it wasn't made right. I emailed Amazon they sent me a new book at no charge. The return process was trouble free. Yes I would buy this book again, and yes I will shop at Amazon again... more

| 3. State Series Quarters Collector Map |
|
By: Whitman Publishing Publisher: Whitman Publishing September 30, 2006
I ordered this, the newer product from Whitman called 'Statehood Quarters Map (Hardcover)' as well as "The Official U.S. Mint 50 State Quarters: Complete 100 Hole Collector's Folder, Complete Collection 1999-2008 (Hardcover)". This was by far the best of the three. It includes space for the new DC and Territorial quarters. It looks good and is very easy to use (yes, even though you are merely storing... more

| 4. The Billionaire's Vinegar: The Mystery of the World's Most Expensive Bottle of Wine |
|
By: Benjamin Wallace Publisher: Crown May 13, 2008
I am a little surprised this book hasn't received better reviews here. First, it is exceptionally well written. Second, I am admittedly a wine-geek, hopefully a wine connoisseur (but not a snob). I am also in the financial services industry and therefore always interested in tactics of self deluded and deluding salespeople, as well as that now ubiquitous concept of behavioral finance (really just human... more

| 7. The Man Who Loved Books Too Much: The True Story of a Thief, a Detective, and a World of Literary Obsession |
|
By: Allison Hoover Bartlett Publisher: Riverhead Hardcover September 17, 2009
The majority of people who are intrigued by this title probably love books, therefore, read it to satisfy your curiostiy. However, I found the writing to be adequate but uninspired, the personality of the author drab and prissy and the guy who loves books not all that interesting. The thing I most disliked was the plethora of banal connections made presented as cosmic ironies (for instance, between... more

| 8. The Varieties Of Religious Experience: A Study In Human Nature |
|
By: William James Publisher: IAP February 23, 2009
The book is presented in a difficult form to read because of large pages, many small type quotations, and a book that will not lie flat when opened. As to the contents, they are fine, especially since the book was written over 100 years ago... more

| 10. The Voyage Out (EasyRead Comfort Edition) |
|
By: Virginia Woolf Publisher: ReadHowYouWant February 19, 2009
This is a horrible edition! FULL of printing mistakes that made it absolutely unreadable. Really looks like the book was just scanned and process with OCR without anyone ever bothering to read what came out of it, not even the first page, which was just as unreadable as the rest of them. As I had to read the book for class, I had to run over to the closest book store to buy a normal copy... more
