I ordered this DVD after seeing a very short clip from an episode. I really wasn't sure what to expect, but I really like it.
For a show about wanted criminals, it avoids a lot of the cliches that come to mind such as having the central cast in some kind of secluded location to avoid cops almost all the time. Speaking of which, the central cast are more likable than I expected (though... more

This is the 1995 Streamline/Orion dub of the first LUPIN THE THIRD animated film from the late 1970's, which has many titles but here is called MYSTERY OF MAMO. Pioneer would redub it roughly ten years later when they had the LUPIN license as "SECRET OF MAMO" and while that is probably an easier disc to get your hands on, this is the superior dub. The translation is closer and the jokes are less topical... more
