| Starring: John Travolta, Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Roth, Amanda Plummer Directed By: Quentin Tarantino March 05, 1996
This movie is about letting go for a couple of hours, and getting into the "Mind of Madness". To be able to see how reasonable, unreasonable things, seem to a disturbed mind. It is allowing you, for a couple of hours, to experience something you may never have experienced, without the magic of movies. So be prepared to spend a little time harmlessly embracing madness, in order to give yourself a fuller... more

I don't intend to burden either of us with my ideas about Anias Nin or Henry Miller's art and methods, or their lives together, or their careeers. I went through my Sex-As-Personal-Liberation phase several decades ago, read their work, and my opinion of their efforts, in particular, both carnal and literary, are not enthusiastic. However, this film is a good one in that it is very nearly a "You Are... more

Now that waterboard torture has been banned a proposal that this film should be used as a replacement has been whispered in the dark halls of the Pentagon. Highly classified reports, exposed at great risk by agents of TCSSAASSG (The Canadien Super Secret Agent And Skateboard Society Guys), tell of sickingly sinister experiments where foreign extremists are repeatedly shown this film using the Clockwork... more

| | 10. Kill Bill 1 (Dol) [VHS] |
| Starring: Uma Thurman, David Carradine, Daryl Hannah, Michael Madsen, Lucy Liu Directed By: Quentin Tarantino April 13, 2004
For as much violence and gore as is contained in Quentin Tarantino's FOURTH FILM (as he so gratuitously informs us in the opening credits!), I think that KILL BILL VOLUME ONE is a great example of the "less is more" philosophy of filmmaking. Of all of Tarantino's films, this one has the least dialogue. In fact, it is really minimalist. I don't think there is one wasted line in the whole film!... more
