They say it's loosely based on a true story, since we were not there we would have to take their word for it, but yes there is such a thing as creepy scary even downright haunted houses. This Movie is Good,Part-Horror,More Dramatic, more whodunit, more of a Thriller really. But it's a good movie to watch... more

| | 2. Drive-In Cult Classics 2 |
| Starring: Trish Van Devere, Donald Pleasance, Walter Stocker, Audrey Caire, Rod Lauren Directed By: Various August 12, 2008
I love drive-in movies. The worse they are, the better I like them, and these are all pretty bad . . . I mean good, or anyway, I love watching these and grooving on the lowbrow cammpy garbage that I somehow managed to find the time and energy to endure in the 1970's. This is nothing like a definitive collection of 70's crap, but it is a grand start on one. You could do a LOT worse (by which I mean... more

| Starring: George C. Scott, Trish Van Devere, Paul Sorvino, Fritz Weaver, Jon Korkes Directed By: Mike Nichols February 07, 2006
This is a sneaky good thriller I've loved a long time. Do dolphins make fun subjects? According to this movie you bet!

| | 5. Charles Bronson DVD Action Pack (Kinjite / Messenger of Death / Murphy's Law / 10 to Midnight) |
| Starring: Charles Bronson, Lisa Eilbacher, Andrew Stevens, Juan Fernández, Trish Van Devere Directed By: J. Lee Thompson February 04, 2003
I'm glad that so many people still like Bronson. I don't know what to make of these glowing reviews. I saw these films when they came out in the theaters in the '80s (after becoming a Bronson fan after seeing "Breakheart Pass" in the late 70s) and I thought they were a far cry from the excellent, well-crafted films he made in the 60s and 70s.
It's important to note that these films were... more

| | 6. Messenger of Death |
| Starring: Charles Bronson, Trish Van Devere, Laurence Luckinbill, Daniel Benzali, Marilyn Hassett Directed By: J. Lee Thompson February 04, 2003
Messenger of Death makes a much better swansong for the pairing of Bronson and Thompson than their last collaboration, the dire Kinjite. The kind of film that would be a cable movie today and which didn't trouble movie theatres for long on its way to video back in 1988, there's nothing particularly special about it, but Bronson made so many bad movies near the end of his career that it's always a pleasure... more

| | 7. Hollywood Vice Squad |
| Starring: Ronny Cox, Frank Gorshin, Leon Isaac Kennedy, Trish Van Devere, Carrie Fisher Directed By: Penelope Spheeris March 20, 2001
I loved this film! HOLLYWOOD VICE SQUAD is not exactly a classic, but there's nary a boring minute to be found. Penelope Spheeris' training under Roger Corman's wing has come to fruition with this film. I completely agree with other reviewers who point out how corny some of the slapstick elements play, and how they don't quite mesh with the super-serious Ho and Heroin plot; but it's still entertaining... more

| | 9. The Hearse |
| Starring: Trish Van Devere, Joseph Cotten, David Gautreaux, Donald Hotton, Med Flory Directed By: George Bowers February 12, 2002
"The Hearse" starring Trish Van Devere and Joseph Cotten is a moody horror film from 1980. The plot boils down to Jane (Van Devere), a newly divorced independent woman, moving into her late Aunt's rundown old house in the middle of nowhere. She is not exactly welcomed by the locals, and is haunted by a black hearse driven by a creepy lunatic.
It turns out the sultry divorcee has just... more

| | 10. CIA: Exiled |
| Starring: Philip Anglim, Larry Bucklan, Julie Carmen, George Cheung, David Dunard Directed By: Carl Schultz November 13, 2007
Features:I'm a huge William Petersen fan so when I found this item I snapped it up. (Be careful - this film has 2 other titles: Curacao and Deadly Currents.) Despite the fact that it has some decent actors involved, this movie just never gets off the ground. It's so slow it creeps along with an overacting George C. Scott and Dennis Christopher. The action is minimal but, for those who are interested, there... more
