| | 2. Pontypool |
| Starring: Stephen McHattie, Lisa Houle, Georgina Reilly, Hrant Alianak, Rick Roberts Directed By: Bruce McDonald January 26, 2010
It is so refreshing to see a new excellent horror film arise from the muck of redundant copy cat genre clones and unwelcome remakes. This film deserves to be seen by every horror fan out there regardless if you are a zombie fan or not. What makes it work is the fact that director Bruce McDonald puts his three characters into an isolated situation that slowly boils into sheer terror. Yes, we've seen... more

| Starring: Ben Stiller, Jason Bateman, Gary Cole, David Hasselhoff, Stephen Root December 09, 2008
Peter LaFleur is a charismatic underachiever and proprietor of a rundown gym called Average Joe's. The facility's ecclectic clientele of decidedly less-than-average Joes is comprised of: a self-styled pirate; a scrawny nerd who dreams of impressing an unattainable cheerleader; an obsessive aficionado of obscure sports; a dim-witted young man; and a cocky know-it-all who, of course, really knows nothing... more

All 1 star reviews for this amazing film is a travesty. It's a difficult film, so I understand how some people may not like it, but 1 star? At least apperciate the artistic skill involved.

| | 6. The Fall Of The Roman Empire (Two-Disc Deluxe Edition) (The Miriam Collection) |
| Starring: Sophia Loren, Alec Guinness, Christopher Plummer, Stephen Boyd, James Mason April 29, 2008
When I first heard of The Fall of the Roman Empire, the film, I was not impressed. First, it did badly in the theaters, was about three hours long, and while it was full of stars I pictured it being something like an ancient Playboy Estate, with lots of feasts and orgies and bloody games. Yet, many modern reviews and essays on the film suggested some real meaning within the scenes. So I finally... more

| | 7. The Man Who Never Was |
| Starring: Clifton Webb, Gloria Grahame, Robert Flemyng, Josephine Griffin, Stephen Boyd Directed By: Ronald Neame June 07, 2005
I remember watching this film as child back in the UK. Watching this DVD, I realised I had forgoten much of the detail of the plot, and the efforts by the Germans to validate the identity of the body. Great story, well acted and played with typical british understatement and the ending was very moving. Not a War movie in the traditional sense and very engrossing. I now have to read the book... more

It's every bit as good to see now. Kids love to watch it as well as adults. Fast shipping. If you want to see an accurate well acted movie true to the biblical text; see this one.
