Rahm cut his formidable teeth on this all-but-forgotten, beautiful, farcical, little charade concerning the grim realities of life as a political actor. It is not, I assure you, an easy role to play. Well, it seem's that some here didn't like it..I thought I had seen this movie because of the title..but indeed, I had not. It got my attention at once...and I watched it all the way thru. I'm giving this review a 5 star rating because I love love love this movie. William Hurt and Raul Julia give outstanding performances in a story that is simple yet touching and engrossing to the very last second.
If I was rating the Blu Ray transfer, however, my rating would probably be a 3 or so. I regret to say I haven't seen the movie pre-Blu Ray, so maybe it's actually better than... more
