Christians Need to Know This Man of God I show this remarkable video of the life of Hus to all my Bible classes that I can. They are touched by this man of God and his similarities to Luther.
Many of Luther's opponents called him a "Hussite." He said that he was so proud to be mentioned in the same breadth with this great Christian, who long before Luther challenged Rome's unbiblical teaching on salvation and repressed the Scriptures from being in the people's language.
The acting here is superb and the depiction of Hus' life and the Council of Constance is very accurate.
Those who want to study more of this man should see Matthew Spinka's books, most unfortunately out of print.
