I loved this movie. I don't usually write reviews, I just read them, but when I read that some of the reviewers called the movie boring, I had to write. If your looking for sex and violance, this movie won't be for you,but if your looking for someone who made a diffferance in history as well as man kind. This movie is defanatly one you should watch. I found it very heart moving and inspirational... more

| Starring: Nicholas Rowe, Alan Cox, Sophie Ward, Anthony Higgins, Susan Fleetwood Directed By: Barry Levinson December 02, 2003
Good movie! Good special effects for an 80's movie. The story was well written and action packed. The actors did a fine job. The actor who plays Watson was a bit irritating, though the actor playing Holmes was quite believable and adaptable to the character written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Well done... more

This movie is superbly produced and acted. One is transported back to those days of Patrons of the Arts and fashionable Salons ruled over by the matriarchs of local society. Mozart doesn't come out of history with too much credit and for his sake, it might have been better had this film - and history generally - had skipped over his private life and character. His music, on the other hand, lives... more

| Starring: Tom Ward, Katy Carmichael, Eve Best, Nicholas Rowe, Matthew Cottle Directed By: Robert Young February 08, 2005
I enjoyed this DVD in that it contained various tales of HG Wells. Although this is an older DVD, it still was a pleasure to watch. The characters were believable and personable. I did not feel as if I was watching actors from today playing people in HG Wells time-they seemed to be actual people of his time. ... more

Love the child's viewpoint of the storyline, albeit the segments run a little slow at times. Video quality is subpar as it's from the 1980's, but still a good buy... more
