This is a great three disc dvd collection that contains the first twenty six episodes of the show. It is a high quality set that has three normal sized dvd cases in a cardboard container. I think the first season of Pokemon was the best and I highly recomend this set!... more

Not as good as the manga but Nobuteru Yuuki's character designs and the weird technobeat soundtrack are good enough to reasons to own this retro classic DVD. A must have for all you Battle Angel fans who are tired of waiting for the Cameron movie to come out.

I watched it dub and have no complaints, but there's the option to watch it sub and a few extras, mostly conceptual drawings and a few promo videos. There are no commentaries and no offical trailer. It seems odd to love a story that spirals relentlessly toward its grim conclusion. It's no spoiler to reveal things don't exactly end happily ever after; the subtitle is perfectly accurate. Saikano is not rosy, escapist, shoujo (or even shounen) fare. It packs an emotional punch.

I must admit, I didn't know what I was getting into. I bought the collectors edition at best buy without doing any research. Its was more of an impulse buy really. I watched it and found it pretty good. Im only commenting on the box in this review
I enjoyed this anime that I decided to buy the enders box set. What can I say, Im a collector in anything that I enjoy. Only came with vol 6... more

Yes a sweet OVA series and you do care for the characters to a certain extent. Well, to be honest by the time the thing came to an end I was emotionally exhausted by the excessive melodrama. It was to the point that the characters were more like caricatures than anything else.
