| 3. Hamlet (2009) |
|
Starring: David Tennant, Patrick Stewart, Penny Downie, Oliver Ford Davies, Mariah Gale Directed By: Gregory Doran May 04, 2010
Director Gregory Doran has firmly positioned his Hamlet in the realm of the psychological thriller, a story that starts moodily and then begins to careen towards its inevitable end. Showcasing why the Royal Shakespeare Company is considered one of the world's premier classical theater companies, the entire cast shines--especially David Tennant as Hamlet, Patrick Stewart as a quietly devious Claudius... more

If you're a fan of this oft overlooked film, it's FINALLY in Widescreen. A comparison between this Blu-Ray version and the previous cheapie DVD is no contest. I've never seen the other feature and I don't even care: to finally get a solid print of this film is worth the Amazon price!... more

| 6. Sabrina |
|
Starring: Harrison Ford, Julia Ormond, Greg Kinnear, Nancy Marchand, John Wood Directed By: Sydney Pollack January 15, 2002
I don't see how anyone can enjoy this movie. Harrison Ford is essential lifeless. Well, a corpse might act a bit better. And Julia Ormond looks like she is in a trance the whole time. Now, I would submit that Humphrey Bogart was also unappealing to me in the original, but at least Audrey Hepburn could carry the film. No such luck here. I could not have been more disappointed... more

| 7. Adventures in Babysitting |
|
Starring: Elisabeth Shue, Maia Brewton, Keith Coogan, Anthony Rapp, Calvin Levels Directed By: Chris Columbus January 18, 2000
This is a great comedy. It is about the hardships (adventures) a teenaged girl encounters when she drives with the three minors she's babysitting to downtown Chicago to pick up her best friend at the train station. The fast paced adventures or situations they run into keep the plot alive at all times. Really funny.
On the technical side, the DVD is a disaster. Although it is advertized... more

| 8. Midway (Collector's Edition) |
|
Starring: Charlton Heston, Henry Fonda, Walter Mirisch, Jack Smight, Frank J. Urioste Directed By: Jack Smight, Laurent Bouzereau October 30, 2001
Midway is a well done movie with a star filled cast. This movie was made with the support of the U.S. Navy and has actual war footage wherever possible. As to the war and its time line the movie is accurate and the actors portrayed their characters very well. If this movie had been in its original theatrical release length I would have given it a five star rating. This is the first collector's edition... more

Starring: Harrison Ford, Karen Allen, Paul Freeman, Ronald Lacey, John Rhys-Davies Directed By: Steven Spielberg May 13, 2008
Over the years I have watched most of Harrison Fords movies , I rate two as his best of all time ,Raiders and Bladerunner. It is hard to imagine Tom Selleck in this roll but he was the first choice for this , but because of his Magnum PI contract could not commit to this film.It does have it all-a good storyline , plenty of baddies and some pretty good effects for the time.A must own for anyones dvd... more
