| 1. Touch Of Evil (50th Anniversary Edition) |
| Starring: Charlton Heston, Janet Leigh, Orson Welles, Marlene Dietrich, Mercedes McCambridge Directed By: Orson Welles October 07, 2008
I love films noir and several of Welles' earlier films. This one is so bad that I was shocked at the huge number of positive reviews.I can only conclude that many, many people are so impressed by a director's reputation that they cannot allow themselves to see the obvious flaws here. I have to wonder if these same people had never heard of Orson Welles or this film, if they would still praise it... more

This DVD is enjoyable if you don't need it to be explicit or revealing. The models doesn't do much, just posing and moving slowly and smiling. They don't do anything naughty as title suggests. You don't get to hear any of the models speak. It is true that these models are shot by Mystique, but I'm a fan of Mystique, so I knew there wouldn't be below between legs shots, and I'm okay with that. The women... more

| | 5. Never a Dull Moment |
| Starring: Dick Van Dyke, Edward G. Robinson, Dorothy Provine, Henry Silva, Joanna Moore Directed By: Jerry Paris July 06, 2004
This is pretty typical of early Van Dyke movies, lots of gags and funny bits thrown in, well paced with a solid supporting cast. The plot really doesn't matter you could probably write it yourself, but it is still fun to watch... more

| | 6. Half Light |
| Starring: Demi Moore, James Cosmo, Ceit Kearney, Hans Matheson, Jamie Edgell Directed By: Craig Rosenberg January 17, 2006
I absolutely loved this movie. It was just the right amount of spooky with some mysteries that were never really solved (like what were those people saying in Gaelic?). I really like movies and books that are dark, and this one definitely was. I just keep wondering why Demi Moore is constantly mentioned in all the reviews and Hans Matheson seems to be forgotten. He was really intense and mysterious... more

| Starring: Sr. Ed Begley, Michael Dreyfuss, Andrew Duggan, Sally Gracie, Van Heflin Directed By: Fielder Cook, Robert Enrico October 25, 2005
I came to this film seeking proof that it's possible to create complex, satisfying art in a commercial context. This film does exactly that by setting characters and narrative in a cutthroat corporate environment, and by couching unqualified success in terms of irreconcilable agendas. It's pure Serling optimism and contradiction, speaking insightful Truth to Power in a shockingly ethical manner that... more

This CRYPT OF TERROR double feature has two films about zombies and the morons who disturb their eternal slumber. CEMETERY OF TERROR concerns a trio of guys who tell their girlfriends that they're taking them to a big party. This is a lie, as the real plan is to go to a crumbling old mansion for a little intimate funtime. Along the way, one of these birdbrains finds a creepy old book and comes up w... more
