5 out of 5 starsGreat Movie, Great Remider of What Really Matters in Life
Quite possibly the best sports story ever made; truth is better than fiction. This incredible true story chronicles the life of Joey Cappelletti, little brother to the 1973 Heisman Trophy Winner (and big brother) John Cappelletti. There are so many reasons to purchase and watch this film. It is inspirational, historically accurate (it uses actual game films of PSU football -- and John Cappelletti of course), but perhaps most of all; it chronicles a simple American family's struggle with faith through triumph and tragedy. It reminds me most of the way things once were in the Country I love so very much. The Cappelletti family's example serves as a reminder to all Americans of what really made our country great, and what is the most sure building block of Western Civilization. Anyway, the movie is incredibly moving and incredibly inspirational all at the same time ... and if you are not crying by the end of this one, then you haven't got a heart.

5 out of 5 stars"The most touching movie I've ever seen!"
When I first saw this movie, I must have been about 13 or 14 years old. I can honestly say that I've never cried harder watching this movie than any other. My mother was watching it with me when I first saw it on local TV and she even asked me if I was ok, I was crying that hard.
It's a very inspirational story of a little boy named Joey who has leukemia, his older brother is his hero. John Cappeletti being his older brother (spelling may be wrong on his name) played college football for Penn State in the early 70's and won the heisman trophy as a huge underdog. John went on to play for the L.A. Rams but his NFL career was nowhere near his success in college. It turns out, the real hero of the movie is Joey, suffering through all the treatment of medicine to fight his leukemia. Throughout the movie Joey asks John to score touchdowns for him, amazingly he fulfills all of Joeys' wishes. In the long run, Joey actually inspires John to excel better then he could ever imagine, becoming the real hero. John gives Joey the heisman trophy during his acceptance speech because he feels Joey deserves it more. IF YOU DO NOT CRY AT THE END OF THIS MOVIE, SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH YOU!!
I highly recommend this movie the next chance you get to see it and HOPEFULLY it will be out on DVD soon!!! You can get it on VHS for now.
A movie filled with love, passion, desire, hope and inspiration that will leave you in awe! Enjoy.

Jeff Peterson, Minnesota

I always cry when I watch this wonderful movie. I hope that someday the powers that be consider releasing it on DVD. I would buy a copy as soon as I could lay my hands on it!!!!!
