best love story i normally like action movies so when i saw this movie and fell in love with it i was shocked. this movie has so many lovable charactors and you just feel good when it's over...which is way too soon. very well done...
Awesome! I enjoyed this movie very much. For some odd reason everytime i watch it i get very hungry though. Great on screen chemistry. Alice Wu did a great job with her director's commentary. Not the typical asian movie, a lot of comedy, romance and decision making in this movie...it has a lot of twists, so you never really know what's about to happen...
A must-have You will enjoy this movie whether you're straight, gay, bi, or whatever. It's full of laughs yet pulls in some serious moments as well...a great balance. The lesbian story line is primary, but does not dominate the movie as other issues are addressed. I am very picky about movies, especially those of the lesbian genre...thankfully this movie made it to the top of my shelf with "Loving Annabelle," "DEBS," "Imagine Me and You," and the other hits.
Whoot! For Saving Face! i pretty much love this movie. i literally watch every night like a crazy obsessed person lol.
Faboulous! This movie was just spectacluar. It is so realistic, how everyone acted in the movie(such as what they say and how they displayed there emotions), the events that took place, all based off something that could or has happened to someone. I really like how the setting was, living in an asian community and being asian, the evnts that take place and how some people act are pretty much dead on. The story itself is wonderful, how the main charcater is scared at first but finally comes around to herself. I definitely recommend this movie to anyone who likes a humorous movie with drama mixed in. Also recommend it to those people who are too scared to take a chance/try to be in the relationship with the person you really want to be with. :)
