but must admit I'm not a huge Matrix worshiper!! I bought this set for $21.30US, delivered from Amazon UK. It is an all region set. This set is perfect for me as "The Ultimate" would have been total overkill for a casual fan like myself. "Complete" has a light helping of extras. The picture and sound on the blu-rays is incredible and will make a great addition to anyone's collection to... more

my dad bought A Piece of the Action at the Dollar store having never seen the movie, and afterwards, we were both glad he did.
A Piece of the Action stars Bill Cosby and Sidney Poitier as Dave and Manny. Dave (Cosby) is a master at breaking into safes. Manny (Poitier) is a con-man. A very young James Earl Jones, who plays a retired police detective cons the con-artists into community service... more

| Starring: Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss, Hugo Weaving, Gloria Foster Directed By: Andy Jones, Andy Wachowski, Josh Oreck, Kôji Morimoto, Lana Wachowski December 07, 2004
I'm actually not the hugest fan of this franchise. Not only because it changed the face of the action genre for the worst, but because the first movie isn't as great as everyone makes it out to be and the two sequels are average at best. However, despite the first one being overrated, it's still a good watch every now and then. Especially with the proper home theater equipment.
This is... more

| | 6. The Matrix [Blu-ray] |
| Starring: Marcus Chong, Laurence Fishburne, Gloria Foster, Paul Goddard, Joe Pantoliano Directed By: Andy Wachowski, Larry Wachowski January 12, 2010
To Neo (Keanu Reeves) it seemed as if his entire life was a dream. As with most of us he was searching for something. He was also looking for a person named Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) who would be able to answer the burning question "What is the Matrix?" It just may be possible that for other reasons Morpheus may be looking for Neo.
The movie producers get points for it the first people... more

| | 7. Nothing But a Man |
| Starring: Ivan Dixon, Abbey Lincoln, Julius Harris, Gloria Foster, Martin Priest Directed By: Michael Roemer September 28, 2004
This movie was great and the actors were excellent. At that time it was so nice to see black actors in serious roles that were not a musical nor were all of them maids, butlers or trying to get a laugh. This was a very realistic and powerful film that still holds up even now as a true classic... more

Stupid stupid movie
You can enjoy it in a brainless sort of way
And whats with the ending, them putting food on poor Bill Cosby
To his credit, Bill advised people against seeing it
Just dumb.. Heres a list: man blowing up after eating a hotdog (WTF?!) fish stopping to look at porn
Just a terrible all around film. Probably very... more

| Starring: Zero Mostel, Harry Belafonte, Ida Kaminska, Milo O'Shea, Gloria Foster Directed By: Ján Kadár October 15, 2002
I had bought this movie a few years ago and never watched it until recently.
I was disappointed by the plot and by the characters, the premise itself is fascinating.
The premise is that this unlikely black angel (Belafonte) comes to this suffering Jewish man (Mostel) and his wife and tries to get him to believe in the angel. The theme of a mans need to believe in something... more

| | 10. The Mod Squad - Season 1, Volume 2 |

This show brings back so many wonderful memories. I love seeing The Mod Squad in action as a family and crime busters. Michael Cole is sooo handsome and tough. Clarence is a great actor and I love seeing Peggy getting rescued. Cannot wait for the seasons 3,4, and 5 to come out along with the Return of the Mod Squad... more
