This flick from 1968 is a decent giallo thriller. In which a black gloved killer is on the loose at a girlschool. The violence in this would be comparable to any movie that came before. Although there is nudity, which a American movie would have never allowed, and of course Mario bava helped write the story. But his movies were even a few years earlier just a little more explicit in their violence... more

| | 2. Night Train Murders |
| Starring: Flavio Bucci, Macha Méril, Gianfranco De Grassi, Enrico Maria Salerno, Marina Berti Directed By: Aldo Lado October 26, 2004
Despite a very disjointed start (in very poor quality - almost looks 16mm) the story comes together and all hell is let loose. Well acted, often edge of your seat situations - some of which are pretty disturbing, the film moves along at a brisk pace - perhaps too brisk as the clues leading up to the climactic confrontation are too rushed and justice dealt out too swiftly - though that's the only... more

It wasn't among the better of the giallos of the period at the time. But it does have Ray Lovelock who is always a solid performer and other fine actors as well. The name of the movie would lead you to expect a solid amount of... more

| | 5. The Girl Who Knew Too Much |
| Starring: Letícia Román, John Saxon, Valentina Cortese, Titti Tomaino, Luigi Bonos Directed By: Mario Bava September 26, 2000
This movie may seem funny and naive nowdays but just because we've seen too much since 1964. This is a perfect example of giallo genre, more to it - this film was made on the dawn of giallo genre. There are many things that would be imitated later on in many other popular movies, not only in Italy but all over the world. The story is rather simple as in all giallo films and I would say even... more
