| | 2. The Vikings |
| Starring: Kirk Douglas, Tony Curtis, Ernest Borgnine, Janet Leigh, James Donald Directed By: Richard Fleischer May 07, 2002
I lived in Norway for some 6 years and grew to know the language, people and customs. It was an experience I can never forget. I saw the actual Viking ships and weaponry, traversed the very fjords and mountains and lived there in Telemark and in Trondheim where St. Olav reigned.
There could be no more majestic a film than this one. Reading the Heimskringla (History of the Norwegian Kings)... more

| | 3. Halloween II |
| Starring: Jamie Lee Curtis, Donald Pleasence, Charles Cyphers, Jeffrey Kramer, Lance Guest Directed By: Rick Rosenthal September 18, 2001
This movie was great. It had killing and stabbing which I loved. Lots of people are scared of these movies. I'm a little scared because I wanted Laurie to survive and I wanted Michael to die and it came true Laurie survived and Michael was burned. Only watch this one, Halloween, and Halloween H20. The rest is not part of this series with Laurie Strode. Michael Myers doesn't die in this one he somehow... more

| | 5. Spellbound |
| Starring: Ingrid Bergman, Gregory Peck, Michael Chekhov, Leo G. Carroll, Rhonda Fleming Directed By: Alfred Hitchcock October 14, 2008
Spellbound is just what its title indicates. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and is one of the better who-done-its to be put on film. Ingrid Bergman is excellent as the psychiatrist who takes a more-than-clinical interest in her patient, Gegory Peck. She is, as most women tend to be, irrational in her views of events due to her infatuation with Peck and his intriguing portions of memory. When... more

| | 6. Bataan |
| Starring: Robert Taylor, George Murphy, Thomas Mitchell, Lloyd Nolan, Lee Bowman May 18, 1999
My father was a world war II combat veteran and this is the type of movie I was brought up on in the 50's. My father, the authentic fighter, considered them garbage. I thought they were great. I think every American under the age of 50 should watch this film to understand what the word "solidarity" means... more

| | 7. Revenge of the Nerds - Panty Raid Edition |
| Starring: Robert Carradine, Anthony Edwards, Timothy Busfield, Andrew Cassese, Curtis Armstrong Directed By: Jeff Kanew March 06, 2007
After having a hard time finding it locally, I purchased from Amazon and it arrived within a few days. The extras are nice, haven't watched them all yet. The neat thing is that I get to re-live a part of my teenage years in DVD quality plus my kids love the movie too (I make them leave the room during certain parts though Lol..). They walk around laughing like they do on the movie after watching... more

| | 8. Revenge of the Nerds: The Atomic Wedgie Collection |
| Starring: Robert Carradine, Curtis Armstrong, Anthony Edwards, Larry B. Scott, Timothy Busfield Directed By: Jeff Kanew, Joe Roth, Roland Mesa, Steve Zacharias March 06, 2007
I am a big fan of the first Revenge of the Nerds. And yes, between the sequels and the TV movies, they steadly went down hill. But they all do have their moments, and I got this set for that. And the price made it worth it. I paid more for only the first film, so why not. If you are a nerd, get the set. You will enjoy it... more

| | 9. All That Heaven Allows - Criterion Collection |
| Starring: Jane Wyman, Rock Hudson, Agnes Moorehead, Conrad Nagel, Virginia Grey Directed By: Douglas Sirk June 19, 2001
This DVD is a favorite in our home. A real classic romance movie, from the time when movies were pure talent and wholesome content. A wonderful "feelgood" movie that is such a relief from the foul mouth and trash movies of today... more
