Metropolis looks promising and exciting. I had the completely false notion before watching it that it was along the lines of Akira and Ghost in the Shell. It's considerably more cartoony than that, and yet it never seems to harbour any clear style, going from Astroboy cuteness to full-on anime. Witch hunter robin is a great series. It is very interesting, and has lots of action. It is a little slow to start on the main plot, and I wish they had explained more about it, but aside from that I think it was totally worth buying, and I have enjoyed watching it many times... more

Everything about This was perfect. I got the item on time, and the show is great. This show is kind of like Dragonball-z (without the endless power-up sequences, and it actually finishes the immediate conflict by the end of the episode) mixed with Gundam Wing. The disc starts with some typical (read: annoying) anime shenanigans in ep. 6 but quickly improves.
