| 1. The Greatest Adventure Stories From the Bible: The Easter Story |
| Starring: Richard Thomas, Joe Spano, Adrienne Barbeau, Darleen Carr, Tim Curry Directed By: Don Lusk March 07, 2006
This movie presentation of the Easter story of Jesus was a bit shallow, and honestly I was pretty disappointed that it wasn't as spiritual as I had hoped it would be. It was more historical in scope and feeling, and I swear one of the character's voices is straight from Scooby Doo...the animation is similar in kind, too. It's not violent--my 4 year-old watches it just fine, but I was hoping for more... more

| Starring: Ricardo Montalban, Hervé Villechaize, Larry Basham, Henry Beckman, Jewel Blanch Directed By: Allen Baron, Carl Kugel, Cliff Bole, Don Weis, Earl Bellamy November 15, 2005
Wow, what a trip down memory lane this is. Anyone wanting to recapture some of their childhood memories would do well by having this fine collection of tv memorabilia in their collection. The only thing I can say that would improve this is The Complete Second Season which has not been released as of yet. I really enjoyed watching this series and reliving... more

| | 3. The Greatest Adventures of the Bible: Noah's Ark |
| Starring: Lorne Greene, Charlotte Rae, Darleen Carr, Peter Cullen, Paul Eiding March 07, 2006
I wish they would hurry up and do a box set of all these, or at least release all the titles in the series. "The Greatest Adventures of the Bible" is a series made by Hanna-Barbera for television many years ago. There are a ton of titles on VHS and only a few on DVD. Even though they are only 30 minute episodes, the studio chooses to release one title per disc. David and Goliath from this set is also... more

I can't tell you how long I've waited for any remnant of The Real Adventures to be released on DVD. I thought it would never happen. If only they'd release Season 2 of this epic series, us hardcore fans would be completed. Either way, we'll take what we can get. This is the first installment to a very intelligent and improved adaptation of the original Jonny Quest series. I'm happy that we've finally... more

| | 7. The Secret of NIMH 2 - Timmy to the Rescue |
| Starring: Darleen Carr, Jamie Cronin, Dom DeLuise, Andrew Ducote, Phillip Glasser Directed By: Dick Sebast March 06, 2001
When it comes to finding good sequels, it's a tough challenge. When it comes to finding good animated sequels, you will have even more difficulty because you must swim through an ocean of crap generally polluted by Disney sequels as well as other miscellaneous animated films you forgot existed. I'd have to say my personal favorite animated sequel ironically is All Dogs Go To Heaven 2 which I felt was... more

| | 8. Eight Days a Week |
| Starring: Joshua Schaefer, Keri Russell, R.D. Robb, Mark L. Taylor, Marcia Moran Directed By: Michael Davis May 02, 2006
Features:- Yes, there's something about Keri. Keri Russell (Felicity, Mission: Impossible III) is the object of a likable dweeb's romantic obsession in the cheerfully raunchy comedy Eight Days a Week. Russell plays Erica, a hormone-revving girl-next-door who tells nerd's nerd Peter (Josh Schaefer) they're "just friends." But Peter has grander designs. Perhaps he can win her attention by paying constant atten

| | 9. The Beguiled |
| Starring: Clint Eastwood, Geraldine Page, Elizabeth Hartman, Jo Ann Harris, Darleen Carr Directed By: Don Siegel July 22, 1998
This Civil War era gothic is one of the more, if not the best, acting turns of Clint Eastwood's career. It's relative obscurity probably lies in the fact that the film contains little action per se and that Clint's hobbled Union soldier is left to the tender mercies of some apparently helpless Southern belles. At first Eastwood's McB's actions apparently stem from self-preservation-he'd rather bide... more

| Starring: Elizabeth Hartman, Derek Jacobi, Dom DeLuise, Darleen Carr, Jamie Cronin Directed By: Dick Sebast, Don Bluth March 01, 2005
My daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH. We looked forward to the movie, especially with all of the good reviews. The movie on its own is probably pretty good, but if you have read the book, you'll be extremely disappointed. We felt like the heart of the book had been changed, and not in a good way. BOOK: Nicodemus was the leader of the rats MOVIE: He had magical... more
