| | 3. Much Ado About Nothing |
| Starring: Kenneth Branagh, Michael Keaton, Robert Sean Leonard, Keanu Reeves, Emma Thompson January 07, 2003
I suspect the amount of enjoyment one receives out of this film is probably inversely proportional to how well one knows the play. Visual cues and musical swells often move the plot along instead of dialog or spoken exposition, Branagh working from a text that seems to encompass about half the original material. All of this combines to create a sort of pastiche of the best bits of the play where it's... more

| | 5. Treasure Planet |
| Starring: Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Emma Thompson, Martin Short, Roscoe Lee Browne, Corey Burton Directed By: Jeff Kurtti, John Musker, Ron Clements April 29, 2003
Even more of a lowpoint for Disney animation than their troubled 70s-early 80s films, it's hard to think of a worse animated feature from the studio than Treasure Planet. It's one of those pitches that sounds like a really bad idea when you hear it - a sci-fi version of Treasure Island with galleons as spaceships and a cyborg Long John Silver - but which, when you see it, turns out to be even worse... more

| Starring: Will Ferrell, Danny McBride, Anna Friel, Jorma Taccone, John Boylan Directed By: Brad Silberling October 13, 2009
A remake of Sid and Marty Krofft's Land of the Lost TV show. Your take on the movie will depend on how you feel about the show. If you thought the show was great science fiction (you were probably high watching it or 7 years old), than this isn't for you. Most people who remember how bad the show was will get this! It is funny! Comedy master Will Ferrell is as a washed up scientist, who gets... more

Since it was so overdue we decided to get back to basics and finally tackle the Stallone classic Cobra. Judging from our extensive past of some of the world's greatest B you may be asking why did it take so long for the review on this one? Well it's simple. Cobra is somewhere in that back pocket selection we've created for ourselves. For us it's one of those classics that is very easy to access forcing... more

Don't expect this to be another "Twelve O'Clock High." It's nowhere near as good, which is probably why 12OH is the first movie that comes to mind when discussing WWII air war movies, and this is merely an afterthought. Gregory Peck (General Savage in 12OH) plays a role, Clark Gable plays Clark Gable ... to me it was like Rhett Butler became a bomber squadron commander. This movie feels a little "too... more
