I watched it just to see what all the fuss was about. It was on Turner Classic Movies channel, so thankfully I didn't waste any money buying a DVD. This movie was lame. Neil Simon's style of writing gets on my nerves very quickly. There is a lot of fast-paced dialogue and often bickering going on in his stories. These characters were not likeable. Of course a comedy mocking Marin County in the 1970s is bound to aggravate the progressives, but that's EXACTLY what it set out to do.
