| Starring: Alec Newman, Julie Cox, Edward Atterton, Ian McNeice, Steven Berkoff Directed By: Greg Yaitanes May 20, 2003
I have watched both Dune and Children of Dune at least 6 times and I never, never, ever tire of the show. It has EVERYTHING you could possibly want in a show, drama, intrigue, character development, romance, etc...No comedy though. OK, one thing is missing. Other than this one thing that is missing, the show is AWESOME! I totally love all things Dune, except David Lynch's version which sucked... more

| | 3. Frankenstein |
| Starring: Luke Goss, Alec Newman, Julie Delpy, Nicole Lewis, Monika Hilmerová Directed By: Kevin Connor October 26, 2004
I used it to accompany the reading of the novel in the high school British Literature class I teach. No parents will object to this one. My only complaint is that the creature wasn't ugly at all... more

| | 4. The Gene Generation |
| Starring: Faye Dunaway, Michael Shamus Wiles, Bai Ling, Daniel Zacapa, Alec Newman Directed By: Pearry Reginald Teo January 27, 2009
One of the reviews I read on this movie compared it to Blade Runner, that and Bai Ling supposedly showing a lot of skin was the two reasons I bought the movie. Bad Choice. The CGI was pretty good and Bai Ling wasn't as bad as usual in this sci-fi action wanna be. The spurting blood scenes looked like they were produced as a high school project, the story was uninteresting, the characters were not... more

| | 5. Dr. Bell and Mr. Doyle - The Dark Beginnings of Sherlock Holmes |
| Starring: Ian Richardson, Sean Wightman, Robin Laing, Dolly Wells, Charles Dance Directed By: Paul Seed October 07, 2003
If you are looking at the original cover than I must tell you that, the female picture on the front is not Mr. Doyle. This is not a "Glen or Glenda" (1953) movie. Unless you are extraordinarily perceptive or well read, you need to read the rest of the title "Dr. Bell and Mr. Doyle - The Dark Beginnings of Sherlock Holmes" (2000). The story almost plays and the unsaturated biography of Sir Arthur... more

| | 6. Moonlight Serenade |
| Starring: Amy Adams, Alec Newman Directed By: Giancarlo Tallarico December 08, 2009
Features:- MOONLIGHT SERENADE (DVD MOVIE)
I think that Amy Adams is a wonderful actress, but even she cannot get past the stilted dialogue and the low budget sets of this movie. Unless drug addiction, loneliness, and losing a job appeal to you, I would skip this one and buy Enchanted. ... more

| | 7. Constellation |
| Starring: Gabrielle Union, Billy Dee Williams, Zoe Saldana, Ever Carradine, David Clennon Directed By: Jordan Walker-Pearlman May 22, 2007
This was a movie that I think I may have expected too much from. To my understanding, the distribution or production or whatever had been in limbo for awhile, but it eventually made it to some select theaters. None in my area of course, so I had to wait for the dvd. I own it and will watch it again but I think there was a little too much complexity going on. There actually could have been more... more

| Starring: Don Brown, Jim Byrnes, Gary Chalk, David Kaye, Blu Mankuma Directed By: Adam Wood, Andrew Doucette, C. Michael Easton, Colin Davies, Ezekiel Norton August 12, 2003
I really like this a lot. I also bought the other two seasons as well. Got this for my brother for Christmas and he loves it. Brings back the old days when we both used to watch when we were little. And a pretty good deal when I bought all three together rather than other places.Beast Wars Transformers - The Complete First Season Beast Wars Transformers - The Complete Second Season Beast Wars Transformers... more

| | 10. True Blue |
| Starring: Tom Berenger, Lori Heuring, Pamela Gidley, Barry Newman, Soon-Tek Oh March 05, 2002
I rated this 4 stars because I'm a big fan of Tom Berenger's acting ability. It's amazing he could do as much as he did, with a script of this caliber and a plot this obtuse and improbable.
Berenger plays an experienced NYPD homicide detective, Rembrandt (Rem) Macy, who has seen everything; he expresses this weariness well in his eyes, facial expressions, attitude and gestures, yet he... more
