| | 2. Psycho |
| Starring: Anne Heche, William H. Macy, Julianne Moore, Viggo Mortensen, Vince Vaughn Directed By: Gus Van Sant June 08, 1999
Some movies are not ment to be re-made. Psycho is a classic and should have a patent on it so crappy verisons of it can't be made. This re-make sucked big time. It's hard for me to find a movie to put down, but I finally found one. Vince Vaughn can't play Norman bates at all. Nobody can play Norman Bates as good as Anthony Perkins. The whole movie was like an exact copy of the original. The movie was... more

One day, the birds just go nuts and start killing people! Now, in anyone else's hands, this could have been a ridiculous disaster. Under the supreme guidance of Alfred Hitchcock, THE BIRDS is a genuine horror classic! The phonebooth, attic, and house-under-siege scenes are fantastic! | | 5. Edge of Sanity |
| Starring: Anthony Perkins, Glynis Barber, Sarah Maur Thorp, David Lodge, Ben Cole Directed By: Gérard Kikoïne August 27, 2002
I've always been fascinated by the mystique of Jack the Ripper, and I'm a big fan of "Psycho" - the granddaddy of all slasher films. Naturally, I was thrilled to discover "Edge of Sanity," which stars Anthony Perkins as Dr. Henry Jekyll. At night, he transforms into the sexually perverse Mr. Jack Hyde who fondles and kills prostitutes in Whitechapel. The newspapers christen him The Ripper.more

A hook-handed killer tears people apart at a housing project Chicago, while graduate students researching urban mythology, become involved. This is one of the scariest movies. | | 7. When a Stranger Calls |
| Starring: Carol Kane, Charles Durning, Colleen Dewhurst, Tony Beckley, Ron O'Neal Directed By: Fred Walton January 31, 2006
The most surprising thing about "When A Stranger Calls" is the "R" rating it was tagged with. I suppose there's a certain intensity here but I would have given it a "PG" since "PG-13" didn't exist in 1979. To it's credit it's not a slasher flick in the least. It seemed to me that the makers were paying homage to Hitchcock without the Master's sense of suspense. This flick is just predictable and... more

| | 10. Hellraiser - Bloodline |
| Starring: Bruce Ramsay, Valentina Vargas, Doug Bradley, Charlotte Chatton, Adam Scott Directed By: Alan Smithee, Joe Chappelle, Kevin Yagher October 10, 2000
Hellraiser Bloodline is the fourth episode of the Hellraiser trilogy. Bloodline is just what it intimates, it is the history of Hellraiser beginning with the making of the first box and ending with the probable end of Pinhead, the entity that the series is about. It is quite graphic and bloody as one would expect from any movie calling itself Hellraiser. In my opinion it is the best one of the Hellraiser... more
