| | 2. My Brother, My Enemy (Star Wars: Rebellion, Vol. 1) |
| By: Rob Williams, Brandon Badeaux, Michel LaCombe Publisher: Dark Horse March 14, 2007
This book is part of the current trend of strong comics being put out in the Star Wars series. The premise is clever: in A New Hope, Luke mentions that two of his friends have gone to the academy. One, as we find out, defected to the Rebellion. This book tells the story of the other and of his reunion with his childhood friend on the opposite side of enemy lines. In my opinion, the storytelling is... more

| By: Mick Harrison, Dave Ross, Lui Antonio, Alex Wald Publisher: Dark Horse August 13, 2008
This was my first Star Wars comic, I usually had just read the books but this was an excellent read. Very good artistic work, and just a really good story. I love anything Star Wars, so this was a real treat... more

| | 4. Star Wars: Dark Times, Vol. 1: Path to Nowhere |
| By: Welles Hartley, Mick Harrison, Doug Wheatley Publisher: Dark Horse February 06, 2008
I am not a big fan of the Star Wars Dark Times series. I own the first volume and thought it was a big waste of money. The story takes place after Star Wars episode 3 and Order 66.
The reason why I dont like the series is because I think it is too corny. The first volume is about some made up Jedi saving someone's daugter. The book also seems like it was written by a kid. more

| By: Rob Williams, John Ostrander, Dustin Weaver, Jan Duursema, Dan Parsons Publisher: Dark Horse March 10, 2010
Regarding the Vector cover, why is it that women in science fiction are expected to fly spaceships wearing a sexy bra and spandex pants?... more

| | 6. Star Wars: Vector Volume 1 |
| By: John Jackson Miller, Mick Harrison, Scott Hepburn, Doug Wheatley, Dave Ross, Various Publisher: Dark Horse January 31, 2009
I would really like to give this 3 1/2 stars because I did like it, but there are a few issues. Even though I haven't read much of KOTOR and none of Dark Times, I followed what was happening just fine. I actually liked the idea of a story that crosses all the SW timelines and I think they pulled it off pretty well. I didn't like the graphic style of the first chapter, which is the Knights of the... more

| | 7. Vindication (Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Vol. 6) |
| By: John Jackson Miller, Brian Ching, Bong Dazo, Joe Pimentel, Michael Atiyeh Publisher: Dark Horse May 27, 2009
I think it was hard coming off Vector, but the writers did a brilliant job. It picks up right where Vector left and starts to involve more of the original elements from the game. Previous volumes went off on so many tangents, it began to lose sight of the mission, which was to flesh out the game.
This book really does both. It satisfies the fans of the game and those looking for an... more

| | 8. Star Wars: Legacy Volume 7 - Storms (Star Wars Legacy) |
| By: John Ostrander, Omar Francia, Jan Duursema, Dan Parsons Publisher: Dark Horse May 27, 2009
This is getting up there in the Trade Paperbacks from the Star Wars Legacy. As usual, the art is amazing and the writing is not bad, but its the story itself that I wasnt a fan of this time around. It was interesting and added another facet to the Legacy story line, but it just didnt hold me like the other TPB did. I can honestly say that for the price, you need to buy it but if your looking just for... more

| By: John Jackson Miller, Brian Ching, Bong Dazo, Dean Zachary Publisher: Dark Horse October 28, 2009
This book was a real letdown after reading Volume 6: Vindication. The stories seemed like filler and I didn't care for most of the art. I hope the storyline gets back on track in the next volume... more
