By: Jake Black Publisher: Simon Spotlight January 23, 2007
My son loves this book! It's a snack in his pantry of good reading - but the book is worthwhile because of the writing. Oftentimes these sorts of books are full of grammatical errors and sloppy storytelling - but Jake Black does it right. We'll be watching for more from this young, talented comic book writer!... more

By: Jim Thomas Publisher: Simon Spotlight February 27, 2007
If you or your children have a love of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, then you will most likely want to add this book to your collection. My son and I enjoy reading and re-reading this book, supposedly put together by Leonardo. In an almost scrapebook format that tells about the Turtles and all their friends. I think it's a good primer if you are unfamiliar with who they are and what they are all... more

|
From: Simon Spotlight Publisher: Simon Spotlight April 06, 2004
This is a terrifically pared down version of the cartoon episode of the same name. It leaves out the scarier and harder-to-understand [for young children] elements of the story without actually changing it, and the sentence structure and choice of words is short, simple and perfect for the age group it is intended for. I can honestly say that I would be thrilled to share these books with my baby brothers... more

| 10. Blackout! (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (8x8)) |
|
By: Scott Peterson Publisher: Simon Spotlight January 06, 2005
This is a very good book for those who love Donatello and Leonardo as it's mainly about them saving two workers from an electrical demise (and the city overall from a blackout). Michelangelo briefly shows here and there (during the beginning and the end), there's much brotherly love between the Turtles overall.
Don is angry (it's rare to see him get very upset like this) at Mikey for breaking... more
