| | 3. The Good, the Bad & the Ugly (2-Disc Collector's Edition) |
| Starring: Clint Eastwood, Eli Wallach, Lee Van Cleef, Aldo Giuffrè, Luigi Pistilli Directed By: Sergio Leone June 05, 2007
Good western but it does stretch credibility to breaking point especially in the civil war scenes. The best of the spaghetti trilogy in my opinion is For A Few Dollars More mainly due to the strong performance by Lee Van Cleef. This transfer to blue ray is OK but doesn't have any Wow factor.

| | 4. Going in Style |
| Starring: George Burns, Art Carney, Lee Strasberg, Charles Hallahan, Pamela Payton-Wright March 30, 2004
I really liked this movie. It had a great cast and a memorable storyline. With all due respect to the lead actors, the film looks like something the Three Stooges might have done later in their career had Larry's health not taken a turn for the worse. Seriously, I can easily picture them doing a movie out of character, tackling the woes common to many senior citizens. I view "Going In Style" as a sort... more

| | 6. Harry and Tonto |
| Starring: Art Carney, Ellen Burstyn, René Enríquez, Herbert Berghof, Michael McCleery Directed By: Paul Mazursky September 06, 2005
Overall Harry and Tonto is a moving bittersweet story about making changes later in life and doing things for yourself. Harry was forced to change, and the journey with all its adventures gave him a second chance. Harry and Tonto was released in 1974, but still plays well as a comedy-drama. Harry Golden (played well by Art Carney) is a 72 year old widower who has to leave his Manhattan apartment... more

National Treasure, yadda, yadda, yadda - Emotional wallop, blah, blah, blah. I'm one of those movie fans who likes to enjoy a movie. You know, good old-fashioned escapist stuff. I don't need explosions, spaceships, or bare bodies; just a great story. I'm just like most of you out there, not some art-house poser or wanna-be critic, but when this was put on my recommendation list I had to do something... more

| | 10. The Gauntlet |
| From: Warner Home Video March 30, 1999
I usually don't comment on movies, but this one is especially noteworthy for Eastwood fans. For a movie that was shot in 1977, the Blu-ray -picture- transfer on this movie is excellent. Since there was no such thing as DTS Master Audio in 1977, or even digital audio for that matter, the sound quality is therefore mediocre at best but it's still watchable. Unless it's under $10 bucks, I generally... more
