No, why Dazzler keeps coming back isn't one of them. However, readers can find out:
1. What Psylocke did to get moved over to "Exiles".
2. What it took to stop the Shadow King in his host body, which is an alternate universe version of Professor X.
3. How Chamber fared after the horrifying revelation of what being depowered did to him in DECIMATION: GENERATION... more

| By: Chris Claremont, Scot Eaton Publisher: Marvel Comics January 02, 2008
As of this writing there is one other review for this item. The other review gave the TPB one star. I don't think it was nearly as bad as the other reviewer said, but it's at the least FAR from great, and probably not good either. I'd probably say 2 and a half stars if the system would let me.
The premise has potential but it's not really played out. The writing lazy and admittedly... more

| By: Ed Brubaker, Mike Carey, Craig Kyle, Chris Yost, Peter David Publisher: Marvel Comics November 26, 2008
While I read a lot of Marvel titles, I haven't kept up as well as I apparently need to in order to know all the characters in this crossover.
Some positives:
Even though this section is much smaller than my complaints below, I want to be clear that I enjoyed the storyline. The overall plot was well thought out, and I enjoyed reading the Summit notes at the end of the trade... more

| By: Chris Claremont, Michael Ryan Publisher: Marvel Comics August 23, 2006
Imagine a collection of the oddest teams ever. You got Captain Britain, th only original character who was the least interesting character with the least amount of story lines around him. Dazzler who used to be an x-men and I guess the writers had no place else for her. Juggernaut which is incredibly confusing. Pete Wisdom... who?!?!? The only character its cool to see is Nocturne, who gets... more

| | 7. Uncanny X-Men - The New Age Vol. 2: The Cruelest Cut |
| By: Chris Claremont, Alan Davis, Andy Park Publisher: Marvel Comics February 16, 2005
I thought this book has a interesting story line. This one was deal with the hellfire's club. As soon as I heard that name I thought I was going to see the Phoniex but it wasn't about that. It was about re-establishing the hellfire's club and x-23's rescue attempt happens to lead up to it, and the x-men have to take down the hellfire's club once again before it is established again. I was introduce... more

| | 8. Uncanny X-Men - The New Age Vol. 3: On Ice |
| By: Chris Claremont, Alan Davis Publisher: Marvel Comics September 07, 2005
I wasn't too impressed with Chris Claremont's "Uncanny X-Men - The New Age Vol. 3: On Ice". Most of what he wrote in the first 3 volumes of "The New Age...X-Men" was mediocre and a rehash of a rehash.
The Savage Land has already been stomped over many times by Claremont; however, I am glad that he created a new enemy the Haukka. I also like a few twists that happened, but the twists... more

| By: Chris Claremont, Alan Davis Publisher: Marvel Comics December 15, 2004
As a fan of the X-Men and all the other X-titles, I was sorely disappointed in this graphic novel.
The beginning, which featured a baseball game with the residents of X-Mansion, was perhaps the only best thing of the entire novel. After that, it just went downhill!
The battle with the Fury just simply bored me. The Fury, to me, was simply a repackaged version of the... more

| By: Scott Lobdell, Joe Pruett, Robert Weinberg, Salvador Larroca, Leinil Francis Yu, Tom Derenick, Michael Ryan Publisher: Marvel Comics December 29, 2004
This was one of the trades that makes me think of the X-Men fondly and wonder what has happened to this franchise? This was a period that almost every X-men title that came out was quality. Now, its seems there aren't many trades, that the emphasis is on The Avengers and the X-Men have fallen off the map. Messiah and all surrounding X-Men titles aren't getting it done. But I must say I did like the... more
