If you like comics, fighting, and cats, this story has all of it. The book is in a series and the series is called "Warriors." It is mostly about cats fighting for their own team clan. In this book "Warrior's Return" is about a cat trying to find it's own way back to it's clan with another cat helping him. There is two cats. There is a grey one named Graystripe. And... more

| 2. The Lost Warrior (Warriors) |
|
By: Erin Hunter, Dan Jolley Publisher: HarperCollins April 24, 2007
Erin Hunter's Warriors series of fantasy novels is like catnip to sixth-graders, so it's not surprising that HarperCollins and Tokyopop teamed up to create manga based on the series. The manga tell new stories about the characters in the novels, and it's not necessary to read the novels to enjoy the manga. On the contrary, with their clear, linear art, simple storyline, and short length, the manga... more

| 4. Escape from the Forest (Warriors: Tigerstar and Sasha, No. 2) |
|
By: Erin Hunter Publisher: HarperCollins December 23, 2008
I enjoyed reading this book and I thought it had the best storyline so far of all the Warriors manga besides the rise of Scourge.
My main beef with this and the other manga in the series is that the drawings need to be of higher quality. I want a visual feast when I open these books. The drawings don't seem to be much better than what you'd see in a Saturday comic strip. One of the reasons... more

| 5. Warriors: Tigerstar and Sasha #1: Into the Woods |

By: Erin Hunter Publisher: HarperCollins September 02, 2008
There's not too much I can say about this manga series. If you're a fan of Erin Hunter's Warriors, then you will like them. If you're just looking for a manga to read, maybe so, maybe not. My only real issue with these is how fast my daughter reads them! She is 11 and will read one of these in less than 30 minutes. She does reread them, so that's good. I'm not sure whether it matters... more

I didn't realise that Magna books were graphic novels. As an adult I'd rather had all three books in one book of words. The drawings of the characters were not consistent across the books. It was interesting to read the back story of Sasha... more

| 9. Warriors Super Edition: Firestar's Quest |
|
By: Erin Hunter Publisher: HarperCollins May 13, 2008
I was so enchanted and touched by this book. It is the only one I have ever cried in, and that includes 16 books! It is about Firestar, the new leader of Thunderclan, as a group of strange cats come to visit him in dreams and real life. He meets their leader, Cloudstar, a gray tom with white patches. It is obvious he needs help for his group. The group turns out to be the fifth clan, which were... more
