| 1. Wicked: 5th Anniversary Special Edition |
|
From: Decca Broadway October 28, 2008
The Wicked cd was given as a christmas gift to my sister in law that had seen the 2008 live show and really liked the music. She has said how much she loves the music and plays it in the car with her three year old so is also kid approved as well... more

| 2. Ramones |
|
By: The Ramones June 19, 2001
I agree with another reviewer somewhere below! His/Her review is the best Ramones review I've ever been fortunate enough to read and I KNOW I'll Never top it, But It's so refreshing to hear of another true punk fan who sees the truth about this album in particular and the band in general, that I can't resist trying! Let me try to elucidate! I've listened to many of the Ramones... more

| 3. Greatest Hits |

By: The Ramones June 06, 2006
i guess i just don't do punk. i know it's uncool to trash the ramones, but having 10,000+ songs ranging from jazz, rock, pop, dance, hiphop, folk, indie, and more, this moronic, puerile stuff leaves me cold. i disliked it in 1979 and it hasn't improved on sampling their 'greatest hits' today. i'm not prone to neg reviews but just had to burst the 5-star bubble. if this is your bag you'll know within... more

| 4. Rocket to Russia |
|
By: The Ramones June 19, 2001
Rocket to Russia being Ramones 3rd studio album and their 1977 release and showcases punk at its finest. The booklet is very extensive with all the lyrics, many photographs of the band from the time, linernotes by author Legs Michael. Allmusic gave the album 5/5 and Robert Christgau gave them an A. 5/5... more

| 5. Leave Home |

By: The Ramones June 19, 2001
Having recently explored this band's early studio efforts, I have to say that I'm pleased this cd's sound quality is a giant leap ahead of their debut album (I bought a 2 in 1 of "Ramones" and "Rocket to Russia" which I assume has the bog standard sound quality of the titles separately). Whereas their debut's sound was generally good, it was badly let down by having the guitars low in the... more

| 6. Road to Ruin |
|
By: The Ramones June 19, 2001
I consider myself a very educated person when it comes to modern music. I have the essentials of everything from early boogie-woogie, early jazz & blues, 60's pop, disco, new wave, metal, indie rock, etc. But I am just now (at 24 years old) discovering The Ramones. Don't ask me why it took me so long...but it did and I am so happy. They are becoming one of my favorite groups to listen to. If you... more

| 7. Hey! Ho! Let's Go: Ramones Anthology |
|
By: The Ramones July 20, 1999
If you are only going to buy one Ramones album, than you are poor or have poor taste in music. However, if you are only going to buy one Ramone's album - I would recommend this collection. The CD is worth it's price for the liner notes alone which provide an excellent history of the band. And of course, the songs are great too... more

|
By: The Ramones October 10, 1995
No, wait a minute...bloody fantastic is what this is. I was not a big Ramones fan back in the day, probably only because my local radio stations did not expose me to their work, other than Beat on the Brat, and I Wanna Be Sedated. And silly me, I didn't want to believe a band from NYC could be any good. Yes, I was stupid, I learned there are many great NY bands. What made me buy this DVD was seeing... more

| 9. Ramones Mania |
|
By: The Ramones October 25, 1990
The Ramones is just great rock 'n' roll to me... They breathed new life into bloated, decaying rock in the late 1970s and inspired countless kids to start their own bands. And then they toured for decades as one of the greatest live acts in the history of popular music and rock 'n' roll. It's some of the catchiest music ever and it's been proven to be addictive to many. The spirit of the Ramones changed... more
