I recently bought this CD, and it's the only one I've been listening to since I first put it in my computer. It has an awesome ensemble of tracks, and my favorites are Heaven, Love Like Blood, At Night, and All Tomorrow's Parties. This collection is different than what Iva Davies has done in the past, since this is a compilation of remakes, but his arrangement of these songs makes it worth listening... more

The recording is excellent and replaces my old 78 recordings which I transferred to tape some years ago. But they have that horrible hissing noise which spoils my enjoyment of them. It is to be observed that although the cast is American, the orchestras and conductors are British (except for Debroy Sommers). I know qite a bot about Deboy Sommers and Lew Stone, but can anyone fill me in about... more
