i have purchased this CD at least 3 times. it keeps disappearing from my office! i have been a massage therapist for 20 years and this has been a staple in my practice since it was released. some say the repetitiveness is...well...repetitive. i love that about it. like chanting...i end up in a world other than our hectic ever changing, over-stimulating modern world! i emerge from the... more

| 3. Karl Jenkins & Adiemus: The Essential Collection |
|
From: EMI Classics March 27, 2006
I first heard this on "So you Think You Can Dance" They were playing Requiem: Dies Irae which when I first heard it could not believe how powerful it was. I was lucky because they always show the title of the music at the beginning. I saw that it was Karl Jenkins and went to I- tunes and saw all of the music that he had and started listening to samples and got hooked. This particular album was... more

By: Adiemus November 05, 2001
I'm a dancer with a school in Singapore and recently, we used track five of this CD: cu chullian as the song for our dance in a concert and I must say, no matter how many times I've listened to this song, I never got the least bit tired of it. It never failed to inspire me again and again to dance. We used "adiemus" as the name for our dance to depict joy and hope expressed through the adversities... more
