Very Good I really enjoyed this series. It was very realistic and true and had heart. It tells the story of people in the Navy and Marines aboard an aircraft carrier on deployment for 6 months. It also interviews both enlisted people and officers as to why they joined the military, where they are from, and also how they feel about their jobs. They cover what it's like to be away from their family and friends. It shows the day to day life and people at their jobs and what it takes to make the carrier work. They show some of the places where they go for liberty. And it also covers the family members and what it is also like for them to be seperated and reunited with their loved ones. Watch this series in part to find out what it takes to keep America free and also to find out how hard our military works in part to help keep us a free and wonderful country.
Pretty good. Show some more helicopters next time ! I bought this DVD for my folks back home so they could get an idea of what life on a carrier is like. It might be a little over-dramatic but it's all good. Show the other squadrons on a carrier next time ! It's not just jets on a carrier. All in all, a solid and well-made documentary that breaks the mold of military documentaries
