Product Description: Events in the dragon kingdom are escalating, setting the stage for an all-new adventure. McFarlane's Dragons Series 8: The Rise of Man marks the time between dragonkind's rule, and their gradual decline to nothing more than myth. The last line in the popular McFarlane Dragons series features four entirely new dragon sculpts and the exciting conclusion to the Dragon story.
Hunter dragon hangs from a tree limb and measures 6.25" from the top of its coiled tail to its lowest talon. Wingspan is 5" across. Articulated at base of head, middle and base of neck, plus two points in tail. Trunk of tree base measures 6.75" x 6.25" and includes two 0.5" human figures.
Irritating to fit together This is one of the least enjoyable McFarlane Dragons, of which I have quite a few. It's very difficult to fit the pieces better and the tree and branch portions are obviously threatening not to stay that way.
The concept is really cool, the dragon looks somewhat bat-like and the tail curled around the branch is a really awesome pose. Unfortunately, the wings are stuck in a position that does not look like that on the box, and they don't seem strong enough to maneuver into the correct place if that's even possible. We were unable to get the tail snugly into place around the branch because the pole offering support beneath it wouldn't push into the Dragon any further. The plastic of the stand began to crack and so we left it as it was.
So far, my least favorite of the Dragons we've purchased, and definitely the most difficult to put together.
