5 yr old loves figures My 5 yr old son loves playing with these figures. They are a little small (army men size) but have details (names & numbers) on them. Be careful getting them out of the plastic packaging. We own a similar toy for college players and I think those are more durable (thicker, bigger players). Also, the college version comes with a realistic green fabric field (field has yardage lines & end zone decorations) and plastic goalposts, so you have something to play on. Not sure he would enjoy the pro players as much if we didn't already have the field & goalposts to set them up on.
