If your TV has 4 holes or 6 holes on the back of the screen, measure the vertical and horizontal distance between the holes. If the vertical distance is within 2.95 inch to 18.9 inch, horizontal distance within 30.5 inch, then this bracket will fit. If you currently have a stand attached to your LCD TV this is usually removed prior to fitting the wall mount. Third, the width of your TV should be 32" or above. Just another Inch or two . . . Why, oh why, can't they seem to make a reasonably priced wall mount that spans three studs of your wall? The wall I'm mounting my 50" Samsung plasma on has the standard 18" centered studs, one of which is centered almost in the middle of the area the TV has to go. This mount's wall bracket, as well as almost ALL the others on Amazon, only spans 31 inches. This means my 150 lb TV has to dangle all the way over on the right side of the bracket while the lag bolts fit the left two studs. This is a ridiculous and stupid design that leaves my $[...] plasma TV insecure, all because the manufacturer was too tight to add another inch or two of metal to the mounting bracket. No thanks. I'm sending it back and ordering the Peerless 670P, which spans three studs with room to spare. I'd recommend you shop VERY carefully if you want a wider mount--for any TV over 40 inches--because Amazon often has no or inaccurate information on their mounts. I found this out when I ordered another one after actually talking to a human at Amazon and STILL got the wrong size. Fortunately, [...] took pity on me and exchanged at a great price.
AWESOME The quality is great. It comes completely assembled. Once I found the center of the wall studs, total time to mount my 52" Phillips LCD was about 10 mins. You won't find a better mount for 5 times the price. Buy this product with confidence.
Crazy Good!! I don't know how these things can cost $200 at the brick & mortar stores! The quality is the same and it's a fraction of the cost. OK the instructions are a little bit lacking but it comes with every screw and bolt you could possibly need. My Panasonic 42" Plasma is securely fastened to the wall. I did drill the holes in the studs one size larger than the instructions recommend due to some of the previous post. If you have to use a lot of force to tighten the wall bolts, stop and drill the holes one size larger. Mine came from Real Home Theaters and arrived before the estimated delivery date.
Great Value Mount I bought this for my new 50" Samsung Plasma TV. It was easy to install and mount the TV. It does the job well and I saved a ton of money over mounts sold in electronics stores. What a ripoff.
Looks better in picture poor workmanship, can not use for my 42" Plasma TV even though it is rated for larger TV's.
