5 out of 5 starsGreat Show!! Missing Life...
I am so sad that the network has not brough LIFE back after the strike. It is such a great show. I watched all the episodes twice after I taped them on my TiVo. I was waiting for them to finish out the season with a BANG and at least let us all know what we deserve to know...how it all comes out in the end...IF they aren't going to bring this great show back. And, from what I'm gathering, it isn't looking that way. SIGH. All that reality junk, all that comedy crud, but a great show like this and Womens Murder Club gets axed... that is the pits!!! Okay, well, I think I've had enough of network TV. I'm off to Showtime and HBO where they don't cancel my favorite TV shows as soon as they hook me. :)

5 out of 5 starsLove this Show and I tend to dislike cop shows
I'm not a big fan of cop shows. I don't regularly watch Law & Orders or CSI shows. However I don't miss an episode of Life. This show does a great job on building/showing interesting characters. The main actor is quite humorous and a perfect match for his more serious partner. There tends to be 2 to 3 varying stories in each episode typically with one or two spanning several episodes or even the seasons series. Also unlike some shows this show does seem to get to the answers being sought longer term throughout the season. I hope people don't discard this show thinking it's your typical cop show, please give it a try and see if (like me) you find the characters more interesting and dialogue more lively as well as a humorous slant to it making the show work for fans of diverse genres.

5 out of 5 starsbest new tv show of current season
Damian Lewis is so mesmerizing and unique as the innocent framed cop who did time and copes with the loss of those years in prison using Zen that I promptly sought out his earlier work in "Band of Brothers" and on BBC video; with some disappointment. I was curious to see how he worked in his own country using his own natural accent. "Life" is definitely his best role (I haven't seen his, the second version of "The Forsyte Saga"). It is the perfect meeting of his particular restrained outsider professional persona and a fascinating character with a whole lot going on inside. I was afraid the writers' strike would doom the series but happily it will indeed be back in the fall of '08.

4 out of 5 starsGreat Show
It took me a while to get into this show. I am a bit timid about started new shows these days since they seem to get cancelled so quickly.
I found it to be intelligently written. Easy week builds on the previous on which I really enjoy. Nice plot twists.

5 out of 5 starsBest Show & Best Acting Ever-Damian Lewis is Killer!
This show by far beats any show ever on television. Damian Lewis delivers powerful, riviting performances as usual! He is innocently sexy, and very believable as a "nice guy" and an unconventional, curious policeman who seeks to find the truth about who killed his friends and who framed him for the murders. I hope NBC is smart enough to understand that this show can be around for a long time. I'm holding my breath that it returns after the strike!
