Big Snaps for the Amazon Unbox system Instead of reading or watching TV before I go to sleep, I download episodes of Battle Star Galactica to my lap top and watch those. If you've held off on watch BSG because of your memories of the campy original don't hesitate. Although there are some HUGE HOLES, don't let that bother you in the slightest, in the story lines, the characters are very very well drawn and acted and the story is drama at its finest.
This is a great product and system I had never seen the mini-series, just the first season so this helped explain a lot. This is a great series. Also I highly recommend the download system from Amazon--it is cost effective and I was able to easily stream it to my Xbox 360 and watch it on a 50" TV. The picture quality was equal to a regular 480p broadcast, but in widescreen. This is a quality superior to any video downloads I have viewed with Apple TV from my Mac. I am thrilled to have this option for viewing video!
