Please sir, can I have some more? At first I wanted to write this show off due to what I considered poor animation (or styling at least). I grew up in the 80s when most cartoons, though filled with fantastically unreal characters, were animated in a realistic style as opposed to super deformed or comically proportioned toons. But my love of the Teen Titans forced me to give it a chance and once you accept that Murakanime (named for producer Glen Murakami's mixed style of US and Japanese animation) is great in its own right, you will see that the writing and characterizations are excellent! This series brought to life characters I have read about since I was eight. The voice casting was perfect and now I cant read anything with these chacters without hearing the voices portrayed in this series. There is also an innocent fun and lightheartedness to the series evenly mixed with a certain complexity to the characters; they are fun, yet also "deep". It swells my heart to have found a series that both revitalizes my love of superheroes and kid's cartoons to where here we are at the fourth season and I am still eating up all the DCU easter eggs and cameos and super storytelling. I think there's one more season and I would love to learn that the show will one day be re-upped for future productions, but in the mean time I will enjoy what I have here! I hope that one day my kids will be able to enjoy this show as much as I do.
Teen Titans: Seasons 1-5 Very entertaining, hours upon hours of fun. Very catchy opening song to the show by Puffy Amiyumi. This show makes Robin too cool. He reminds me of a mini Batman, it's just great. My daughters enjoy this show and so do I.
A MUST HAVE! If there is any series of Teen Titans you should have this will be it. It's great to see the build up to the Raven Trigon story.
A fun ride The Teen Titans series was a fun and underrated cartoon series, enjoyable for multiple age groups. The seasons all got progressively better since the start. Fans of the comics will enjoy the selection of characters and how the series also makes a cute homage to Japanese Anime.
keeps on going with better episodes and stories. Also a lot more is explained about Raven's past and why she's the way she is. With the return also of a old Titan enemy that they all thought was long gone. Its good to see each one of the Titans pretty much have their own episode revolving around them. I enjoyed all of them especially the 3 part season ender revolving around a prophecy of Raven being the key that brings about the destruction of the Earth. The Titans all band together to help bring the earth from this destruction and in the process come to a greater understanding of just what Raven's gone through since joining the Titans.
It makes for an excellent season end episode and leaves it wide open for the following season with many possibilities. Great show that parents and kids can get into and enjoy along with everyone else.
