Product Description: The fun never stops with this giant 88" circumference sprinkler that splashes water as you roll it around! Water sprays out of four fun spray heads. This cool sprinkler combines fast and fun beach ball action with wild water play. Just inflate it, hook it up to a hose and watch the fun begin. Great summer fun for the kids!
Individual spray head hoses help keep the inside dry and mildew-free. Fill the bottom pouch with water to turn it into a stationary sprinkler. Garden hose not included. Adult setup required. No tools needed. Air pump is suggested for inflation (not included). Set-up instructions included. Colors may vary.
Little Tikes Beach Ball Sprinkler This is a great toy and lots of fun for the kids, but only lasted about a week before the water started seeping into the ball and it filled up with water. This made it very hard to put away as the water does not come back out easily because it is actually in the air portion of the ball. The hose connection also keeps popping off, but this may be because of the weight of the water on it.
Waste of money! I purchased this for my 6 & 4 year olds to play with.... we followed product instructions, but after only 15 minutes of play, the ball stopped spraying, and began to fill with water.... my husband was afraid it would burst and hurt the children! I contacted Little Tykes and got NO response! Don't WASTE your money!
California Dreamin'! I told everyone I bought this large beach-ball sprinkler for grandson Devon, but I really bought it for myself. It looked like a fun, cool thing to have during these 106 temps we've been suffering ... and I liked the looks of it. I challenge anyone to look at a beach-ball without thinking of surf-and-turf and happy, fun-filled days of summers past. My mind rocks back to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and the Beach Boys. ... Ah-hhh ... "California Girls," "Good Vibrations," "Surfing U.S.A" ... Who could ever forget those and other big hits they performed?
Devon was drawn to the sprinkler--as people have always migrated to water--and he liked it for about a California minute ... until the sprinklers squirted him directly in the face with mini-force. He enjoyed getting wet, of course, but didn't like the water in his eyes. Besides, he wanted the ball for himself; HIS toy, you know. So, being a smart kid, he crawled beneath the water-streams and kept trying to roll it. That, in itself was amusing to us adults, but frustrating for him.
As a result, because I think it's pretty, I now use it as a yard decoration ... but only when Devon is inside looking out. And when he's napping, I still "run through the sprinkler" from time to time. Just a big kid at heart.
This isn't an educational toy (nor does anyone claim it to be); it's more durable than the usual beach-ball; and I think it's tons of fun. Even if it's not for Devon--after all, he's only one-and-a-half--it makes ME happy. When not outdoors, I enjoy standing at my upstairs window, looking down on it, while imagining myself standing in the silver jets of water as they cool me off while the colors appeal to my sense of harmony. As I said, it's cool ... in more ways than one!
To each his own, but I think you'll enjoy it too.

Fun Times My sister said that my neice, who's 2 years old, loved it! She's only used it a few times so far with no problems. I know it will be a family favorite throughout the summmer.
BaD VerY Baddd!!!! I bought this ball this summer, I live in Orlando, fl, so you know it was hot. I bought it for my little daughter who was 28 months old at that time, but though she loves water, she hated this toy. THe ball was stady the whole time and when the water came out the holes it shooted without moving around. To make matters worse, I had just used it around 3 times for the most, and when I tried to use it again after being ignored for a while (this is now late summer not too long ago) the ball just broke from inside and it started to fill with water inside not the conducts to the sprinklers (it claims that you can use it as a ball or as a sprinkler). I had to trash it, it was not use not even if I just inflated it to be use as a ball because the air was leacking from some where. Bottom line, regular sprinklers are probably more fun, or some other toy.
